Here’s what’s happening now:

How Wake Co. is growing by ZIP code: The ZIP code with the lowest number of total confirmed cases in Wake County grew more than 21% this week, 27562 NEW HILL.

The area south and west of Holly Springs and Apex grew by 8 confirmed COVID-19 cases this week for a total of 45 confirmed cases.

Three other ZIP codes grew more than 10% this week, as well, which is significant.

The last time four ZIP codes grew by more than 10% was 10 weeks ago, at the start of September.

The three ZIP codes over 10% are 27519 CARY, 27597 ZEBULON and 27518 CARY. [read more + find your ZIP code]
