What to know about the western bus rapid transit line

The future of transit in Raleigh includes faster, more efficient bus service, bus rapid transit. These corridors will go east, west, south and north.

The western corridor would connect Downtown Raleigh and Downtown Cary, with stops by Boylan Heights, Pullen and Dix parks, NC State, Historic Method and dense job centers.

A new cidery, Shady Grove Cider, will be a part of East End Market, a new development in Five Points. The cidery will focus on dry, tart ciders made from NC apples and plans to open in March 2022. [News & Observer]

More music returns: Red Hat Amphitheater announced shows are returning to the outdoor venue this month with the Amped Up Music Series. Shows begin May 27 and the current schedule runs Thursday nights through July 1. Tickets are expected to go on sale this week.

The Ritz announced its first big show, Steve Aoki, for June 5. Lincoln Theatre and The Pour House already resumed shows.
