SATURDAY: Flannels & Frost. Head to Moore Square for winter-themed festivities and treats, including s'mores roasting, an igloo book nook, inflatable axe throwing, an interactive ice sculpture and more.

Vendors including Carroll's Kitchen, Cheeni Chai + Coffee + Tiffin, Empire Eats, Tama Tea and The Sweetest Things will be selling hot chocolate, beer, wine and sweets. 2-6 p.m., from the Downtown Raleigh Alliance and the City of Raleigh. [

SATURDAY: North Carolina Museum of History Young Associates Masquerade Gala. This black tie, mask-optional event includes live music, tarot card readings, an open bar and a good cause. [tickets]

SUNDAY: Hummingbird's Mardi Gras Seafood Boil. At this costumes-encouraged event, enjoy a New Orleans-style Seafood Boil, gumbo, muffalettas, live music by Atomic Rhythm All Stars and DJ Nick Speaks and a cash bar serving on-theme cocktails. $35 in advance, $40 at the door. 3 p.m. [tickets]

SUNDAY: Burial Beer + Transfer Company's Mardi Gras Celebration. From 2 to 8 p.m., enjoy New Oreans-inspired brews, kids' activities (including a Mardi Gras parade), live music and a special menu. [info]

THURSDAY: Trophy Anniversary Party. Celebrate 7 years at Trophy Brewing & Pizza beginning at 4 p.m. with "all kinds of special and never before released Beers, including new Sour and Foeder Aged Beers!" [info]
