The Skill Mill has been shortlisted as a finalist for four prestigious upcoming awards. The Children & Young People Now Awards have become the gold standard for everyone working with children, young people and families. The Skill Mill has been shortlisted as a finalist for both ‘The Partnership Working Award’ and ‘The Youth Justice Award’.
The Social Enterprise UK Awards recognise businesses that give back, enrich and communities. The Skill Mill has been shortlisted as a
finalist for the ‘Prove it: Social Impact Award’. The Howard League for Penal Reform Awards are for the country’s most successful community projects encouraging desistance from crime. The Skill Mill is a finalist for the 'Organisation of the Year'.

All of The Skill Mill teams have been busy so far this Autumn. The effort from the team in Scarborough has been outstanding. Further to this, the young people continue to offer a helping hand at The Rainbow Centre.

'The 'Buy Social for a Better World' campaign was held during October by Social Enterprise UK (SEUK). The Skill Mill are a certified SEUK member. The campaign was a chance for us to celebrate the incredible difference we make, and shine a spotlight on the positive impact of our work.
