PRAYER WARRIOR UPDATE JULY 2021

The next GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING will be

Tuesday August 17th

Fasting starts on Monday the 16^th at sunset
and concludes on Tuesday 17^th at sunset.
As Scripture teaches: “And there was evening, and there was morning;
the first day.” Genesis 1:3

GENERAL THANKSGIVING

The Lord’s gracious provision of our needs as a ministry. We are so grateful to Him for all the donors and intercessors
The team of lesson writers who daily spend hours praying and seeking His direction on how to best write down the truth to be communicated in an age-appropriate manner
Open doors to our staff who were able to present Genesis Design to students, church young people and even congregants
All the members of the boards and their families and our staff and their families who are well and healthy, protected by the Lord
A possible new artist and graphic designer to join our team.
The 4&5-year-old lessons which are nearing completion. The goal is to have 12 lessons done and available by the end of the year
The twenty-five, 1^st Year 9-to-11-Year-old lessons, undergoing revision and editing to be ready by the end of the year for use in 2022
The work being done by our website developers to create and launch an e-commerce or shopping platform making it possible to order lessons on-line
Another Christian school in South Africa has just asked whether they can participate in the field test of the 4&5-year-old lessons

OTHER MINISTRY THANKSGIVING

Thankful for God's knowledge of TRUTH with the peace and joy, assurance and guidance that comes with that, especially during this pandemic
Healing and restoration upon those that have been sick
God's daily protection against the evil of this world and for us, who are His, to remember Jesus is still in control and on the throne
The South African Board had a very successful board meeting in June and the 2021/22 budget was approved. Trust the Lord with us that He will make the funds available
A new board member was appointed in Germany – Nico Schneider. Praise the Lord with us for him and his family who have a deep desire to see the young people in their village and the teens in their church, receiving the Genesis Design teaching
He has also taken over the translation work from Winfried Dörr who resigned. We thank God for Winfried and what he has done for Genesis Design to be established and legally registered in Germany
The Namibian Board’s Exco, who held a meeting to appoint a new bookkeeper and bank signatories in the light of Ndemufayo stepping out of the position. We thank God for her faithful and dedicated service

INTERCESSION

The lesson writing team for wisdom and inspiration to keep writing and developing lessons
The next age group we need to focus on to develop lessons for
Wisdom as we negotiate with two possible lesson writers to assist in completing all the lessons still to be written and developed.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to inspire and enthuse the lesson writing team, with new insights into the Scriptures and following the correct interpretation thereof
Saturday August 7^th the ExCo members of the Global Council will meet to discuss a number of matters concerning the general development of the ministry and the way forward, both in light of COVID but also should we be able to travel and host training courses in Namibia
Ministry plans are being put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic – wisdom as to when and how to re-open the ministry so to speak
We are hard pressed financially by the closure of the Head Quarters Training Facility, because we may not use it as a result of the government COVID restrictions
We’ve had some requests from churches to send teams to Africa to help teach and train teachers in Genesis Design, but they can’t travel right now
How to follow up the contacts we made in South Africa to effectively engage those schools who indicated that they would like to use Genesis Design as their preferred sexuality curriculum
We need to start preparing as to how to negotiate the fast-changing worldview and ideology regarding gender, sexuality and marriage. Even some churches and individual believers think we are too radical in what we teach, but it is the truth and therefore we can’t teach anything else, but the truth from the Scripture
Overcoming the difficulties of how to “market and distribute” the completed lessons globally
How to use the various social and other media options to promote Genesis Design to the millions who desperately need to hear the message effectively, and implement it in their own lives and communities
Please pray for South Africa as we continue with the third wave of high Covid infections; and for peace and calm after the volatile situation of looting and rioting that occurred the past week, with much loss and damage occurring
Comfort for those that have lost their loved ones during this pandemic
In Uganda, schools remain closed. There are negative effects like idleness and many out of wedlock pregnancies. Please pray for the students and for God to use our government to do the right thing that will be beneficial for all
