Some Kiss

Hi Friends!
This morning I woke up with a quote from a Rumi poem, "Some Kiss", that I composed many years ago (you can hear it on Bandcamp, on my album "Upto Here | From Here".)
In my composition I actually omitted these two lines. They returned to me today, requesting me to give them the honour they deserve.
"Close the language door
and open the love window.
The moon won't use the door,
only the window."
23 year-old me who composed the poem didn't feel how essential these words are. An actual blue print to live and love by. 43 year-old me wants to remember these words בשכבי ובקומי״" as I lay and as I rise...

I enjoy Valentines Day mostly as a remembrance to take time for loving gestures. We SHOULD remember to practice love every day, but the world can be so harsh, I personally forget at times...As someone who believes in practicing practice - I welcome any ritual that reminds me to practice how I want to love and be loved in return.
On Feb 14, forget about the chocolates and the hallmark cards.
