Bounce, Bike, and Bleach!

The KS Kenda Women are staying busy with various bike projects through quarantine. We have decided to divide and conquer our updates. This time around it's Alli's turn to give an update, so here you go!

Backyard Bike 'n' Bounce

With the gravity of COVID19, I have been taking some time out to play on my Mach 4 SL. In between bunny hops and corner drills, I have been trying to find a better way to fall that doesn't involve me breaking my body or bike. It's a good thing that I had this big old air mattress just lying around waiting to help too. Maybe by learning a good old-fashioned tuck-and-roll, I will be slightly more equipped to try new things safely. After all, the trails are still open in Pennsylvania but the hospitals are swamped! Until we're in the clear, I'll keep practicing and having fun!

Exploring PA on my Pivot Vault

With many races postponed or cancelled, I have also been logging long hours in the saddle. On long days, the gravel- and pothole-covered roads across PA have been no match for my Pivot Vault. I used to celebrate when I crossed over onto the freshly-paved roads of Delaware but now I barely notice the transition--the whole ride is comfortable! I have to thank everyone behind the Iso-Flex seat post because it makes the time fly and adventuring enjoyable.

Getting Crafty in Quarantine

Finally, when I'm not on my bike, I like to be creative and even somewhat crafty. Sometimes projects are intentional; other times, I am conducting a good quarantine clean and end up with bleach all over my sweatshirt. It actually looked pretty cool when it voilà ! A bleach-dyed t-shirt video.
We hope everyone is doing well! We love seeing everybody's creativity shine as they find new ways to get out and ride (or not)!
