The Eastern Shore Coastal Community Mapping Project - June 20th, 6pm to 8pm
You are invited to join us Thursday, June 20th from 6pm to 8pm to view the updated Eastern Shore Coastal Community Mapping Project display. Learn about the past and present with stories and images about our community. Local historians from Liscomb, Port Dufferin, Sheet Harbour, and Clam Harbour spent the summer of 2018 digging into the Archives for village histories and photos. Julie Adamson (Spry Bay) interviewed folks all along the Eastern Shore from Liscomb to Little Harbour for stories. Then they made GIANT maps from the stories they collected.
If you missed seeing these ten foot maps last fall you now have a second chance! More stories have been added to the Eastern Shore Coastal Community Mapping Project since last year's display at Memory Lane Heritage Village, so even if you came out last year there will be new items for you to explore.
Come by and see what they have been working on and add your own stories to become part of this legacy project.
No admission fee, all are welcome. Click Here to view the event on the Memory Lane website.
See you there!
