'The Sombrero', massive gemset Mexican pin, as advertised in the LA Times in February 1942, in superb condition, one of the rarest (and weightiest) collector pieces - impossible to find together, matched right and left facing pair of MB 1941 patented swallows, in gold and pave - MB Flying fish pin, with early 1940 advert, being promoted then in Pittsburgh, by Marcel Boucher - in person... never seen MB Sterling gold and pave flying goose pin, marked only Sterling, identified by a new advert (again from the LA Times, 1943)...

...superb unsigned Dujay enamel floral spray, magnificent design and colours - patented, yet extremely rare, Trifari 1941 pieces - the Treble Clef, never seen before in these pastel moonstone and enamel colours (but like the 1941 patented Trifari anchor and lyre pins)... giant Alfred Spaney Sapphire Lozenges floral spray, 1941 patent, only second time here ever... magnificent patented 1941 gold and pave basketweave giant bowknot pin, also only second time here - and with the originals so rare, the design's more familiar from the 1966 revisitation, by Philippe, as Modern Mosaics...

...and a massive Trifari surprise, after all these years - pair of dress clips, with the unmistakable clips, both stamped 'Copyrighted, 1933'... existence never suspected - Schiaparelli, dragonfly pin from the 1957 series advertised in Vogue, now with supporting detail from Women's Wear Daily, Mme S still designing in Paris, the manufacturer in Philadelphia - lovely Deja 1939-40, Enamel Roses in a pave flower vase, identified from a signed pin previously here - charming sterling Southern Belle pin, with hat, flowers, and bow, similar to the Corocraft Sterling treatment...
