Amundsen Athletics Foundation

Amundsen Athletics Foundation officially established as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization on November 11, 2021. The Foundation was established to assist with, supplement, develop, maintain and expand programs and athletic facilities for students at Amundsen High School, and to enrich the overall educational experiences of such students.

AAF Scholarship Recipients Announced

The Amundsen Athletics Foundation is honored to announce the 4 recipients of the first ever Amundsen Athletics Student Scholarship Program that was established by the foundation for this 2021-2022 school year. Congratulations to the following 4 Amundsen Seniors who will receive $1,000 for post-secondary education expenses:

Community Meeting Notice from 40th Ward Office

Next week 40th Ward office is hosting a community meeting about the field conditions at Winnemac Park. They will be joined by the Chicago Park District to discuss the feasibility of installing turf so Amundsen students and park goers can utilize the field during wet conditions. The meeting will take place on Thursday, May 5 at 6:00 pm. Register at bit.ly/WinnemacTurf.
