Field Committee

The Amundsen Athletics Foundation has formed a committee to continue working with Alderman Vasquez of the 40th Ward and the Chicago Park District to advance the conversations surrounding the field improvements at Winnemac Park. The committee is made up of AAF board members and community members. The committee held their first meeting on Tuesday, May 24th and will be posting updates on the AAF website.

Fundraising Activities

Thank You Jersey Mike’s!

Thank you to everyone that came out to support the giveback event on May 12-14th. AAF raised $911.43 for Amundsen Athletics! Thank you to the Jersey Mike’s team at 1732 W. Lawerence, Ave for their continued support!

Football Team Bowled to Raise Funds!

Thank you to the Bilbo Family for generously donating the bowling event at Waveland Bowl on May 28th. And thank you to everyone that made a donation or came out to support Coach Olson and the football team. The players and Coaches had a lot of fun. They raised over $7,700 and a portion of the proceeds was distributed to the AAF Student Athlete Scholarship Fund for next year’s recipients — thank you Coach Olson!
