Dear Friends,

We are now at the midpoint of the 6 week period of Stage 4 restrictions. We hope and pray that you are travelling well.

In our Sunday morning sermons this week, we will particularly focus on hope: the hope we have in Christ, and signs of hope that we see in our daily lives as we enjoy our 1 hour of exercise or when we are at home. You may like to begin reflecting on what is bringing you hope at present in preparation for our service. A number of our congregation will be involved via video, sound and poetry. Do plan to join us at either 8 or 10am for those livestreamed services.

There is a guest preacher at our 1pm Mandarin language service this Sunday. It is the Dean as guest preacher, and Mrs Ruth Vun translating the sermon to Mandarin.

Our Canon Pastor, Chris Carolane, is taking some weeks leave for personal reasons. During his absence from the Cathedral, the Revd Emily Fraser will be acting Canon Pastor. She can be contacted on (03) 9653 4313 or by emailing efraser@stpaulscathedral.org.au

Canon Chris said: 'I value everyone’s prayers for me and our family, but ask respectfully to be given some space. For this reason I prefer not to be contacted by others until I am back on deck'. We pray for Chris and wish him and the family well, and thank Revd Emily for taking on her new additional responsibilities in his absence.

We continue in prayer for you all each week. Please do pray for the Cathedral's continuing ministry.

Grace and peace,

Heather.
