Community Centre AGM
Monday 20th September, 5.30pm

Our annual AGM will be held on Monday 20th September at the Centre – please mark your diaries to attend. We will be sharing the exciting projects the Centre is involved in currently, and it is a chance for you to meet our Staff and Board. Nibbles and refreshments will be available and the staff will showcase the current projects and future plans. Following this we will have a short AGM reviewing our Financial Performance for 2020 – the year of COVID-Lockdown challenges.
This AGM is important as we transition from being an Incorporated Society Charity to being a Charitable Trust to better protect the assets and mission of the Centre for the future. Come and find out what is planned going forward.
For those registered as Society members as of 31st August 2020 , there is also an SGM on Monday 30th August at 6pm at the Centre. This is for the Board to report back on the moves to transition to a Charitable Trust and to seek final approval to initiate the Trust and then to wind up the Society. Full details are on our website, along with a draft of the proposed Trust Deed.
- David Marshall, Board Chair
