Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal Ceremony

7,000 Albertans will receive the medal as a symbolic recognition of the Her Majesty’s 70th anniversary, based on the number of Albertans recognized in the 2005 Alberta Centennial Medal and the 2012 Diamond Jubilee Medal Program.

One of our volunteers, Terry, was a recipient of this medal for all of her volunteer work with SAiF during COVID. She volunteered over 100 hours last year at events, bagging masks, and helping in the office.

When we were asked if we had a volunteer who would be deserving of this award, we didn't hesitate to put Terry's name forward.

Thank you Terry for all you do for SAiF!!

WiseGuyz for Boys
In partnership with the City of St Albert, we are so pleased to be bringing the Centre for Sexuality's WiseGuyz program to St Albert! What is WiseGuyz all about? It's a healthy masculinity program for adolescent boys in grades 8 and 9. Want to learn more about the program? We have a blog for that!
Rural Youth Counselling Pilot
We're working with FCSS in Gibbons and Sturgeon County to pilot a virtual counselling option for youth in Sturgeon County this year. In partnership with both these communities, we're hoping to provide a safe and secure space for young people (13-18) to receive their counselling within their own communities around family violence or bullying trauma. Want to learn more? Contact your local FCSS office or contact us via email.
Family Counselling
While we have a flat fee of $100/session, safety is always paramount so our pre-intake process and simply learning about the program is entirely free. We want to make sure this is the right service for you and your family, first and foremost.
If you'd like to learn more & discuss your situation with one of our clinicians, please book a free phone consult today. 780.460.2195 ext. 301 or email us.

Will Power: Building SAiF's Future
When you give to SAiF, you help people in your community directly. You help a child overcome bullying trauma that could've held them back but didn't because you gave. You help teens contemplating self harm or suicide build the healthy coping skills they need to survive. You help families heal and put themselves back together.

And we understand, not everyone can give right now. Or maybe you can't give as much as you would like. But gift giving can come in many different ways. If you haven't written a will, it's always a good idea so that you ensure that your estate is given according to your wishes - whether to a loved one, a cause that you care about, someone you want to make sure is taken care of after you pass, or perhaps a combination of these.

Will Power is a new site that can help you calculate your gift giving & the legacy you want to leave behind. We're proud to partner with them to build our endowment fund - so we're here for whenever families need us. Contact us to learn more
