Orange Shirt Day in an opportunity to discuss the impacts & legacy of residential schools. It honours the experiences of Indigenous Peoples, celebrates resilience & affirms a commitment that every child matters. Please note that we will be closed Sept 30 in honour of Truth & Reconciliation Day. 

Upcoming September Events

The St Albert Cruisers are once again hosting Autorama @ Fountain Tire on St. Albert Trail with vintage cars, photo & hula hoop contests, an auction table, food trucks, 50/50 tickets & more all in support of SAiF's Elder Abuse program. 
Join us at St Albert Pride on Sept 18 @ Rotary Park in St Albert from 11- 8pm. They'll have food trucks, a live stage, drag queens, bouncy castles, games, & more at this family friendly free event. SAiF will be there with some cool prizes & games, too!

Paint the Town Kick Off Breakfast

This November, we're splashing St. Albert in purple & it starts - like most good things - with a delicious breakfast! Join us Oct 27 from 7:30-9am to support local businesses, families & help us kick off our First Annual Paint the Town Purple. 
Tickets are $25 each
$100 for tables of 4
$150 for tables of 6

We're Hiring A Child/Youth Counsellor

This is a P/T position to provide child play therapy for children 5-11 & youth counselling for those 12+. Learn more here & consider applying today!

New Wellness Courses from AHS

If you're looking to create healthier relationships & to improve your coping or communication skills, you can now register for AHS’ new Wellness Exchange, an online 1 hour series for Albertans. Sessions run weekly starting Sept. 8. Participants can take any or all of the classes. For more info visit their website

Family Violence & Family Law Online Courses

These free courses, which have been accredited by law societies, provide information about family violence and family law and explain changes to the Divorce Act relating to family violence. While the courses were prepared with legal advisers in mind, it is available to anyone who is interested in learning more. Courses are available online here.
