East Idaho Outfitters/Guides Meeting

Meeting hosted by IOGA with East Idaho Outfitters/Guides, and representatives from Fish & Game, Teton County, and Outfitters and Guides Licensing Board. The meeting is virtual (Zoom), and in person (Ashton Idaho Community Center). See below for meeting information and agenda items. 

If you plan to attend the meeting in person at the Ashton Community Center, please RSVP to office@ioga.org. Lunch will be provided and we need a headcount. 

The agenda is focused on fishing related concerns, but there is room in the meeting for other topics, please message office@ioga.org with suggestions.

1:30 PM Teton River Recreational Use Management Actions Discussion
  • Summary: Teton County is leading an effort to address the recent dramatic increase in recreational use on the Teton River. The County, in cooperation with Idaho Fish & Game, is reaching out to a variety of river stakeholders to develop both short- and long -term management strategies. We hope to preserve the river’s precious fishery and wildlife habitat while providing a positive recreational experience for all users of the Teton.
