Dear Family and Friends,

This summer has gone by quickly, hasn't it? Although, it always seems to feel that way year after year. How have you been filling your days!? Where have you seen God's fingerprints this summer? Has it been beautiful and exciting, scary and overwhelming, or just out right boring? Take a quiet moment to reflect and let God meet you exactly where you are - remembering His grace, mercy, and unconditional love for you. "Entering silence is entering into joy," stated by Saint Augustine (by joy, I think he means the amazing presence of our God). I hope and pray that you hear whatever God is trying to tell you; listen closely because often times, He whispers.

Ministry Story

Thank you for prayers concerning the youth trip to the Boundary Waters at the beginning of August! The photo above is the view we had from our campsite every morning and every evening:) So beautiful!! It was an amazing opportunity to get to know the teenagers and begin to mold relationships with them! And it was also amazing to be with God in the silence and solitude of His Creation - Bible reading in the hammock and reflecting on the responsibility that God has given me - as His daughter - to be a grateful and thoughtful steward of His creatures and His nature that He has gifted to us.

Update on Me

Tomorrow is my first official day of starting my Masters Degree through Sioux Falls Seminary; I will be studying to become a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Please pray that I learn with a humble heart and listen to where God directs me to go love and serve others.

As well as studying, I am making a job transition, which you will all hear more about once it is finalized; please be praying that this transition goes smoothly and that God receives all of the glory!

I am also volunteering with YFC in Willmar, MN, in which I am spending Wednesday afternoons painting with teenage girls from the community. Please be in prayer that the Holy Spirit continues to move in their hearts and uses me as He wishes:)

Thank you for all of you who have been praying for my mental health. Though I will be wrestling with anxiety and depression the remainder of my life, God continues to heal me through His Word, His Creation, other people and therapy. I am so grateful for His unconditional love.

Recruiting season is here! Please be praying for our staff - Ken Lippold, Clint Harper, Daniel Shin, and Naomi Shin - and myself as we travel to universities throughout the states this fall. Also be praying that God leads the right individuals to join our alliance and that God would grow and bless them in their experiences us:)
Please feel free to reach out to me anytime that you would like; I love hearing from my team and would love to know how I can be praying for you! Thank you again for your continued prayers and support! Sending love and God bless!
