The HEART team has just wrapped up Phase One of the Informing the National Narrative: Stories of Utah's Opioid Crisis Project. Over the last 6 months, HEART faculty have partnered with 16 community scholars to collect over 22 hours of audio containing the stories of 34 individuals that have been impacted by Utah's opioid epidemic. Keep an eye out for the link to the published Digital Collection in the next couple of months.
In Phase Two of the project the HEART team will be partnering with Utah Humanities to host community conversations in Box Elder, Cache, Carbon, Davis, Emery, Salt Lake, Tooele, Utah, and Weber Counties. Be sure to keep an eye on our upcoming events section for the event nearest you!
Please reach out to your nearest HEART faculty to get involved in our opioid overdose reduction efforts or to the Project Director, Kandice Atismé, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about this project.
