"And the king will answer them, 'Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.'" Matthew 25:40

In-person Worship Suspended.  Sunday Worship Videos on YouTube.

Due to the rising number of COVID cases in Connecticut, and Middletown in particular, we have reluctantly decided to cancel in-person worship for the foreseeable future.  We will however continue to videotape a worship service on Saturdays, which will be available on YouTube on Sunday morning at 10am.

Thanksgiving Blessings

Please read these uplifting words from Rev. Dr. Shawn Stapleton, NACCC:
"It was 400 years ago this month . . . that our spiritual and ecclesiastical foreparents stepped off the Mayflower on to the shores of Cape Cod after 66 harrowing days at sea. Conditions were challenging, to say the least, and they lost many of the family and friends with whom they left the shores of Europe. . . Today, we are not unlike those Pilgrims -- we have settled in unchartered territory; we have lost many family and friends; we need to band together to get through these challenges. With those things in mind, let us give thanks: for every breath which is a gift from God; for every moment together, knowing the next is not assured; for every provision God supplies, no matter how meager; for every member of our support system, without which we could not survive. . . May God grant us all the courage, grace, strength, faith, and tenacity to forge ahead as we face whatever challenges might lay before us. With Jesus as our Lord and the Holy Spirit as our guide, we can march with confidence into 2021. May the blessings of God be with all of you this holiday season!

Coats for Connecticut Campaign

Best Cleaners is kicking off its 12th annual Coats for Connecticut campaign to help an ever-increasing number of people who are struggling to make ends meet this year.  Outerwear for all ages and in all sizes is needed, especially children's coats.  All donated coats will be cleaned free-of-charge and delivered to a centralized Salvation Army site where volunteers will sort the coats for distribution to those in need.  You can drop off coats at any of Best Cleaners locations, including Middletown.  If you would like to donate to The Salvation Army for the purchase of a new coat, text COATSCT to 71777 or go visit The Salvation Army.
