Thanksgiving Cheer
Due to the pandemic, the Diaconate will not be hosting our annual Thanksgiving dinner.  We know that some of our church families have endured extra challenges during these unprecedented times.  The Deacons would like to send a little cheer their way to let them know that their church family is thinking of them.

We would like to present gift cards to those church families who are in need.  In order to accomplish this, we need help from our congregation.  The Deacons have set a goal of raising $350 to be used to purchase the gift cards.  There will be donation baskets set out beginning this Sunday.  We will gladly accept cash or checks.  If you are able to support us by making a monetary donation of any amount, it would be greatly appreciated.

100 Cans of Green Beans

I hope everyone who normally bakes or cooks for our church's annual Thanksgiving dinner will commit to bringing in a few cans of green beans (14.5 oz any cut or style) for Thanksgiving baskets being made for Middletown families. I have committed our church to contributing 100 cans of green beans to this local community project. I will deliver the beans on Friday, November 13th.  Please contribute what you can toward this goal no later than next Thursday, November 12th.  I hope everyone who contributes will be happy and joyful to know they've participating in the holiday meals of Middletown families. You can leave your donation on the table in the Narthex, or drop it off during the week at the church office. Cans should be 14.5 oz and can be any style of green bean. -- Pastor Nancy
In Person Worship and Video on YouTube
Our sanctuary has been set-up for approximately 40 individuals to safely worship in person.  For those unable to attend, please know that we will resume videotaping this Sunday.  The  video will be posted to YouTube around 3 PM on Sunday.

For the foreseeable future, we will continue to practice all safety protocols related to the virus, which means temporarily foregoing congregational singing and socializing within the sanctuary.  If and when circumstances change, and it is no longer advisable to worship in person, we will revert to a video only option.
Bible Study
The theme of this week's Wednesday morning Bible Study will be Covenants. If you would like to join on Wednesday morning, please listen to the audio, watch the video, and read the scripture passages at the Covenants link above.  If you would like the Zoom login information, please let us know.
