Corrected YouTube Video: 1/3/21 Service
Due to a technical glitch, the recording of last Sunday's service was inadvertently cut short such that the Benediction and the 4th verse of the hymn were eliminated. Thanks to Jeff Yardis for correcting the issue and producing a new, complete recording that you can watch here.  This is the service that included Pastor Nancy's "President Jesus" sermon.  After this week's invasion of our Washington D.C. Capitol building, you may find some comfort in a second viewing.

Poinsettia Pick-up Please
We still have eleven poinsettias in the Sanctuary waiting to be picked up.  If you ordered a plant and would like to pick it up next Tuesday or Thursday, please email Chris Foley by end of day Tuesday and your plant will be held for you.  If you didn't order a poinsettia but would like one, please visit the church office between 10AM and 3PM next Thursday to choose from among those plants remaining.
Annual Meeting, February 7th via Zoom
According to our bylaws, our Annual Meeting is held the first Sunday in February each year.  This year, that date is February 7th and it is highly likely our meeting will be held via Zoom.  The typical number of attendees at these meetings, as well as the number of different speakers, would present a significant risk for spreading the virus at an in-person meeting.  And the COVID numbers are still relatively high in CT.  Please stay tuned for more details in the next few weeks.
Visit the "Library" on Our New Website
Visit the Library on the Third Church Website to learn about our 247-year Church History.  Did you know, for example, the first meetinghouse was was built in 1773 on the same spot where our current church stands.  The building was 48 feet long and 30 feet wide with no paint inside or out.  And the only stoves used during winter were foot stoves!  Learn much more online: ...
