"Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him." John 3:17
Daylight Savings Time Starts This Weekend
Remember to turn your clocks AHEAD one hour before retiring on Saturday night. This is especially important if you're planning to attend our in-person worship at 10 AM Daylight Savings Time on Sunday, or watch it live-streamed on YouTube.  See below...

Worship in the Sanctuary and Live-Streamed This Sunday
This Sunday, we will once again return to the Sanctuary for worship.  For the benefit of anyone who is unable to attend for any reason, this service will also be live-streamed on our YouTube Channel beginning at the same time: 10 AM Daylight Savings Time.  An email will be sent on Saturday that will include the YouTube link and a copy of Sunday's Order of Worship.  Many thanks to Jeff Yardis for the countless hours he has invested in setting up our live-stream capability.

If you are going to attend in-person, please enter the sanctuary by one of the two green doors on Miner Street. Please enter on the side you intend to sit on, as the sanctuary will be divided down the middle. As you enter, please take advantage of the touchless hand sanitizers mounted to the walls on both sides of the narthex. You will be required to wear your mask when in the sanctuary. Free cloth masks will be available for your convenience as you enter.  An offering plate will be just inside the door on each side of the sanctuary.

Singles and couples will sit in the center pews, while couples and families will sit along the walls. Every other pew is roped off. Do not sit in a roped off pew. In the center pews that are not roped off, the spaces on both ends are marked "Please Keep This Seat Free." Singles and couples should sit in the middle of the pew, avoiding either end in order to comply with physical distancing guidelines. Please fill the seats at the front of the sanctuary first, leaving the seats at the back for last. Al Baron and Corrine Sternberg will be our welcoming deacons, one on each side of the sanctuary, to answer your questions, help you get seated, and meet other needs.

Sunday School Continues on Zoom
Sunday School will continue to be offered at 10 am on Zoom only. At this time, there is no date set for returning to in-person Sunday School. Please contact Johanna Tessman with any questions or concerns. If you would like to receive the Zoom login information for Sunday School, please ask Chris Foley to add you to the list.
Fellowship Time OUTSIDE on Sunday 3/14
After worship on March 14, congregants may choose to fellowship outside. As noted last week, when more people are vaccinated and  infections continue to fall, we may open Fellowship Hall.
Bible Study on March 17th
The name of next Wednesday's Bible Study is "When We Walk Out on God."  If you plan to participate next Wednesday, please visit this link prior to the meeting to hear the audio, watch the video, read the scripture, and review the lesson questions. A reminder email, including Zoom login information, will be sent to all regular participants next Tuesday.

Invitation from the NACCC
Cynthia Bacon Hammer, the Moderator of the NACCC, is inviting you to the Annual Meeting, Racial Justice Workshops, and Thursday afternoon prayer.
These opportunities, offered by the National Association, are held via Zoom.  Watch and listen to her video invitation here.
New Edition of Our Daily Bread
The March-April-May edition of Our Daily Bread devotionals booklet has arrived at the church office.  You can pick up a copy during office hours, in the narthex March 14, or request that a copy be mailed to you.  In the case of the latter, please email your request to Chris Foley and include your mailing address.
Invitation to Participate in a Study on Prayer and Pain
Dr. Samantha Meints of Brigham and Women’s Hospital is leading an examination of the role of prayer as a way of coping with chronic pain. People use many techniques to cope with chronic pain, including praying to God or a higher power. The research aims to better understand the role of prayer in coping with chronic pain and what kinds of prayer are most helpful. If you are interested in participating, you can go directly to the screening website.
NACCC (Virtual) Annual Meeting Registration is Open!
The NACCC Annual Meeting will be held virtually on Saturday, June 19th and Sunday, June 20th.  The meeting will include pre-recorded and live workshops, and all workshops will be recorded for viewing after the meeting.  There is no registration fee, but registration will be required.  Registration is open. There is only one vote per church, so please register as a non-voting attendee.  For more details, please see the registration brochure. You may also want to take a look at the workshops list or the tentative agenda.  This is an opportunity to connect with our national association without traveling across the country. Pastor Nancy, Kim Kennedy, and Paul Kennedy attended the Annual Meeting in 2019. Feel free to ask them what it's like.
Clothing Donation Shed Now Open
The clothing donation shed in the church parking lot, which was temporarily closed due to the pandemic, has now been reopened.   Accepted items: clothing, shoes, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, curtains, pillowcases, and stuffed animals.
