“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever.” Psalm 111: 10
Remembering Bettye Nosenzo
Our dear friend Bettye Nosenzo passed away peacefully last Friday, January 22nd.  She was 99 years old!  In the words of  Kim Kennedy:  "Bettye was an inspiration to me because of her faith.  She radiated a true joy in the Lord.  Along with her quick smile and great insights in Bible Study.  She was a woman of true grace."  In the words of Pastor Nancy, "I always felt uplifted after visiting Bettye in her condo, or later in her nursing home. She had a strong and generous spirit, and it was a blessing to be in her presence."

Many interesting details about Bettye's life are offered in her obituary, including her request that in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to Third Church in her memory.  As you may know, Bettye also made several memorable contributions to our church while she was with us.

Bettye's ashes will be interred with her husband Al's at the Connecticut Veteran's Cemetery in Middletown.  A memorial service has been postponed to a future date due to pandemic safety concerns.  Condolence cards or letters can be sent to Bettye's son, Al Nosenzo:  138 Skyline Dr.,Southington, CT  06489
