The Chamber at Home Concerts Air Thursdays and Mondays
"The Chamber at Home" is a partnership between Classic 107.3 and The Chamber Music Society of St. Louis to bring you weekly encore concerts chosen from CMSSL’s archive. This week, hear "Frightfest", a performance featuring spooky music from Edvard Grieg, Camille Saint-Saëns, Ludwig van Beethoven, and others. Tune in at 5:30pm on Thursday, July 28 or 10am on Monday, August 1!
Audition for the St. Louis Chamber Chorus!
Auditions for the Saint Louis Chamber Chorus, the region's premier a cappella choir, will be held in August! Now entering its 67th season, the Chamber Chorus performs music from the Renaissance to the present day. The Chorus rehearses on Monday evenings, and the concert season is comprised of six Sunday afternoon performances. Each singer receives a modest honorarium per concert.

Exploring Music with Bill McGlaughlin - 7pm Weekdays
Symphony, Part IV – We start this week featuring the symphonic form at its Romantic apex, with Austrian composers Anton Bruckner and Gustav Mahler, then cross the English Channel to Britain to listen to the music of Edward Elgar (pictured). Twenty-two symphonies among the three of them, and more remarkable since Bruckner was in his 40s before he composed his first, and Elgar had just turned fifty!
