H3 has a new look! We've had some fantastic work done behind the scenes to give us a new logo, branding, and website. Many, many thanks to the contributors on the project who gave us a more polished and consistent look. We believe that this will give us more visibility going forward and increase our capacity for fundraising. Have fun browsing the website:
In addition, this is our first regular newsletter and we're excited to build our base of supporters by giving you monthly updates and ways that you can give and pray for H3. If a monthly newsletter just isn't your jam, you can  unsubscribe here. (We hate to see you leave!)
Our spring 2020 trip is rapidly approaching and plane tickets have been purchased! This year's team is FULL with 20 people who are excited to serve in Uganda, joining us from Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, India, and Spain. We are scheduled to leave the weekend of Easter, returning April 22. We will be conducting 3 days of clinic in Kampala and conducting followup with patients.

Our team is blessed with several women who have been involved in kingdom ministry all their lives, and this year we hope to partner our women with their Ugandan counterparts: women who are involved in ministry in Kampala and who often experience loneliness and frustrations without the connectedness of Christian community. We hope to be able to encourage and strengthen relationships among women.
Over the past few months we finally received NGO (Non Governmental Organization) status in Uganda! This means we now have a nonprofit counterpart in Uganda, which gives us the ability to transfer funds more effectively and gives us added legitimacy as an organization in country.
Teammates left to right: Sam, Paul, and Dr. Nick
You may not know that we employ a Ugandan on the ground in Kampala to conduct our patient follow up and additional care throughout the year when we aren't there. Dr. Nick has care of around 40 patients and the funds that you provide pay for their surgeries, procedures, and medications. In addition, we provide scholarships for young women to attend high school or college, and we contributed toward the seminary education in America of a young man who is seeking to be a pastor. Thank you for supporting H3!

Would you pray as we approach our 2020 trip?

  • for the future direction of this organization as we build capacity and continue to grow
  • for our partners in Africa who prepare for our visit
  • for safety for our team in travel and effective witness
