This is your time! You, yes, you will have the opportunity to read at our annual Christmas Reading! On December 10, at 7:00 p.m., we will meet in our usual spot at the Redeemer Office (1166 Avenue of the Americas, 16th Floor) for an informal reading and a time of festive fellowship. If you would like to read, please email us by December 1 at firstname.lastname@example.org with the name of your piece. Your work should be under four (4) minutes long, approximately two (2) and a half double-spaced pages, and with 12 point font. This is a time to celebrate YOU and share YOUR work in a safe, encouraging environment. Please feel free to invite friends and family, but have everyone RSVP here individually through the Center for Faith and Work (CFW) so they are granted access to the building.
Please come out to show your support for the lives of vulnerable girls and to support several members of the Redeemer Writers Group, who will be reading to raise funds to help keep girls in Uganda in school. We Deliver Period, co-led by Amelia Thompson, Readings Committee member, will host this event on Saturday, December 14, at 6:30pm.
For additional literary events, happenings, and more, view our Redeemer Writers Group calendar here.
Until we meet again, keep writing! Keep reading!
Debra, Nana, Stephanie, and Tricia
