Dear Friend :
As a direct result of our continuing advocacy efforts -- along with Senator Lisa Baker, and Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) -- an increase in COVID-19 vaccines was allocated to WMCHC for use in Pike and Wayne counties.
Earlier this week, WMCHC and Wayne Memorial Hospital received 2,500 doses of the Moderna vaccine from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, their highest weekly allocation to date.
WMCHC immediately opened clinics at the Pike County Training Center, in Lords Valley and at the former Rusty Palmer location at the intersection of Routes 6 & 652, near Honesdale.
According to Governor Wolf's field representative for Northeastern Pennsylvania, more clinics can be scheduled as the allocation increases and remains steady.
