As already mentioned in the last newsletter, our first Rainbow Charity Night will now take place next Saturday. On 3 December at 7pm we want to celebrate with you for a good cause!

We will collect money on this evening to support LGBTIQ+ activists in Ukraine. You will have the chance to buy artworks by the artists Pit Reding, Lindsay Siebenaler, Nathalie Bütgenbach and Helene Pisarek or take part in a raffle. There will also be an urn into which you can drop your donations.

Tom Hecker, president of Rosa Lëtzebuerg, will lead the evening. Furthermore, there will be an exciting supporting programme with this year's Miss Drag Luxembourg, Medusa Venom, as well as singer George Philippart. The reigning Mr. Bear Luxembourg, Steve Goerend, will also say a few words. Furthermore, we will present the After Movie of this year's Pride for the first time as well as the short documentary film about the Amsterdam Rainbow Dress in Luxembourg.

Mr. Bear Luxembourg 2023, Steve Goerend, elected in October at the last Bear Pride, met with members of the Rosa Lëtzebuerg board on 16 November. On this occasion, the board members presented the activities of Rosa Lëtzebuerg asbl as well as new projects, such as the Rainbow Center. Steve Goerend announced that he wants to work closely with all stakeholders of the community and thus also contribute to the visibility of the Bear Community within the LGBTIQ community.

One week after the 20th anniversary of the Centre LGBTIQ+ CIGALE, the representatives of the boards of Rosa Lëtzebuerg asbl and the Centre LGBTIQ+ CIGALE met for a periodic exchange. In addition to evaluating the activities of the activities of the past year at both organisations, the upcoming projects were also presented. Afterwards, the last documents of the Rosa Lëtzebuerg Archives, which for historical reasons were still stored at CIGALE, were handed over to Rosa Lëtzebuerg to be integrated into the Queer Archive.

In return, Rosa Lëtzebuerg handed over 43 books on permanent loan to the Centre LGBTIQ+ CIGALE so that they could be used by the jointly established "Marc Grond" library and thus by the public.
