Developer Newsletter 005

Hey developer! It's been a while. The days are getting shorter, the season's console releases are approaching, and #Rust2021 blog posts are trickling out.

Embarkers have been working remotely since April, and while I miss meeting folks at events, there have been more important issues which deserve attention.

This fall is gearing up to be an exciting few months for Open Source @ Embark, where we hope to share more, release more, and collaborate more.

New to the newsletter? Welcome! I'm Ari, and every now and then I'll send you a summary of what Embark's been up to in open source and the greater developer ecosystem.

Let me know what you think! You can send feedback about the newsletter or questions to opensource@embark-studios.com.

It's almost Hacktoberfest again! This is a great opportunity to hop into one of our open source projects, whether you're making your 1st pull request or your 100th. You can even get a free t-shirt out of it!

We've labelled some GitHub issues with "Hacktoberfest", and will be adding more all throughout October. Feel free to open your own issues as well if you have ideas on how to improve any of our projects.
