We have our new member's rego day coming up on the 8th August from 12pm - 3pm. Last year was crazy busy so I am looking for members to help me out with the following positions on the day.

Please make sure all rollerdoors and changeroom doors and closed when you leave the club, if you are there and there is no one around, please shut both. We had the rollerdoors wide open all off last night because no one shut them. Anything could of got stolen!
Thank you to everyone who attended the Patrol Strategy workshop on Saturday. The input and feedback from everyone was very valuable and will assist in shaping the structure of our patrols going forward into the new season.
IRB and Jetski Courses

Crew course is well on the way again thanks to Shannon, Evan, Declan and Lawson for training these guys.

Youth Training Sessions (Winter)
All, the listing below details all of the training opportunities that are available to the U14 and 15’s. Now is the timing to be working technique and condition ahead of the summer. There’s lots available, so please join in where possible.
U14/U15 Board Training
Please arrive at the Boat Shed at in time to sign in. Bring your training vest, wetsuit if you want, a drink and some warm clothes for after training. Keep a look out on the Sorrento SLSC - Youth Development Facebook page. Any updates or details of additional training sessions will be posted here.
Strength and conditioning class open to all competing athletes if currently training under a club coach. A form signed by parent will be required to be completed.
Sessions currently limited to 12 people

Juniors Wind Up
Little additional information for the upcoming Junior awards night and presentation Sundowners
The Junior Awards Night for U/10 to U/13 on the 7th of August 2020
Food is available from 5:30pm
We won’t start the presentations until 7:15 due to the fact we know a lot of our nippers have Friday sport on at the moment
The award night is not just for medal recipients so if you want to come along and support your U10 to U13 team mates your more than welcome.
9th of August from 3pm for U10 to U13
16th of August from 3pm for U6 to U9
These Sundowners will give us an opportunity to present all our nippers their certificates and participation medals they have earned through the season it also gives us a great platform to show our appreciation to our Senior Age Managers, Assistants and water safety for their valuable involvement.
All nippers attending will get a hotdog from the club adults are welcome to bring nibbles and plates along.
We will do our very best for all group presentation to start at 4pm if for any reason your Nipper can not attend I will post when you can collect your awards from Jess in the office.
