Welcome Back!!!
Half a year has passed since our last issue because of the re-configurations necessary during the  Covid-19 pandemic.  It has been a struggle for all of us around the world but we are now preparing to launch our next iteration of our Entrepreneurship Program set to begin later this month !!!  New this year is a collaboration with Green Books who, in addition to helping us enroll new youth into the program, they will share knowledge about the considerations a business should make to minimize our impact on the environment. So, our youths will not only learn about entrepreneurship, building a business, but also the importance of caring for the environment.

Don't forget check our website at or visit our social media to know more about us and see our updates!
Last month, the Friends of the Canggu Comunity School provided Stella’s Child with a grant to fund our Lunch & Learn program, an afterschool seminar series designed to build self-confidence and self-discovery as teens prepare to graduate from High School.⠀
Our last seminar was held prior to the global social distancing guidelines were put into place and Stella’s Child is actively researching and identifying ways for us to continue the program given the new landscape we are working in.
Stella’s Child, like most businesses in Bali, is in a time of need. To offset operating costs, we have been collecting gently used clothing, homewares, & electronics. ⠀

One of our former program graduates collects, values, and promotes the merchandise for resale in the local community. He then manages a small business selling good quality merchandise at prices affordable to the local community. ⠀
To date, we have raised over 17 million rupiah (nearly USD $1,300)! We need your help to keep the momentum going! Get involved today and contact us to find out how to donate to this program!
“Stella’s Child programs allow me the freedom to express myself and to learn things that help us in life”. Words from Devi, one of this years program graduates.
She recently told us that Stella's Child helped to see what her future could be and greatly helped her to find her strengths. She loved English language seminars because she could improve her English skills. She also appreciated the Healthy Living and Employee Rights seminars because “they don’t teach us that in school and it’s something we need in real life.”

A special Thank You to our 2019 Grantors; Inspirasia and Irish Aid.
