29 MAY 2020
Dear SASSETA client

From Monday, 1st June 2020, the country will move to Level 3 of the current COVID-19 lockdown regulations. Level 3 will see a significant lifting of restrictions and reopening of many economic sectors. Workspaces and businesses will require a risk adjusted strategy and all the health and safety protocols in order to reduce the risk of infection.

As always, please stay safe and healthy. And happy!

SASSETA WILL RE-OPEN ON MONDAY 1 JUNE 2020

Our employees will be phased into the work environment on a shift-rotation basis and in accordance with the one third occupation rule which limits the number of daily working employees to only one third of the total departmental headcount.

We have implemented strict measures of operation for both employees and clients and will implement these precautionary measures that are in everyone’s interest.

CALL CENTRE AND SWITCHBOARD OPERATIONAL

CLIENT VISITS

Clients can now visit us at the office for pre-arranged meetings providing the meeting does not have more than 5 people attending.

Clients who want to meet a staff member need to schedule a firm appointment with the SASSETA contact person. If the SASSETA employee did not confirm the meeting in writing the meeting cannot take place.

PLEASE NOTE THE PROTOCOLS FOR CLIENT VISITS

No entry without masks and gloves!

Gloved hands needs to be sanitised at the front door before entering the building.

A health screen will be conducted and, if the client is found to have a temperature exceeding 37.8 degrees, they will be asked to leave the premises immediately and seek medical attention. If the client refuses to be tested, entry will be denied.
A health questionnaire needs to be completed by all who enter the building. Should the answers to the questions indicate a risk, the person will be asked to leave the building and seek medical attention. All questionnaires will be analysed by our HR and Risk departments and retained for possible future contact purposes. If the person refuses the complete the questionnaire entry will be denied.
