Where is Gotcha Covered HR this month?

We're dedicated to supporting Louisiana small businesses through COVID-19.

On April 8, Co-founder Patti Pannell, JD, provided insights via webinar to Louisiana small businesses as a panelist for an event sponsored by the Urban League.  This event was developed for members of the Louisiana Economic Development's Small and Emerging Development (SEBD) Program.

On this panel, Patti was able to share employer updates on the impact of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) to small businesses.
We are deeply grateful for the efforts of our New Orleans essential workforce, particularly the efforts of our local healthcare providers and first responders.  This includes the children of our own Co-Founders. Stefanie Allweiss's daughter and son-in-law and Patti Pannell's son are on the healthcare front lines in Louisiana during COVID-19.  A huge thank you for all of you who are working to keep our world and city running at this time.

Senior HR Consultant Julie Graham has been volunteering with NOLA Couture to sew hospital gowns for New Orleans area hospitals.  We hope you join us in our efforts to flatten the curve by staying HOME.

Keep Your Team Engaged, Remotely!

In addition to COVID-19 HR Support, Gotcha Covered HR continues to offer training, so you can continue to grow your team.  Our HR training offerings can be adapted to remote delivery and customized to the needs of your team.

In March, Co-founder Stefanie Allweiss, JD was the HR keynote speaker at the MABWA / SEBWA / SABWA joint regional convention held in New Orleans.

Her keynote address, "Would YOU work for you?" addresses hot HR topics such as generational differences in the workplace, how to attract the best talent in today's labor market, and how to retain your best employees.

Are you interested in exploring this topic with your leadership team?  Interested in how the latest labor market trends will impact your hiring after COVID-19?

Our training can be adapted to online webinars.  We keep your team engaged and focused on growth and development, even while remote.
In March, Co-Founder Patti Pannell delivered two focused HR discussions that can be converted to online HR development for organizations.

At Fidelity Bank's POWER Banking Program, Patti presented on Risk Management for Business Owners - What Keeps You Up At Night.

The second event was a NOLA SHRM In Focus discussion on developing employee handbooks.

Patti is one of the area's leading experts on creating and adapting employee handbooks to meet the needs of each business while keeping up to date with employment law.

Looking to update your employee handbook?  We are ready to offer remote support for these revisions.
