This May Allan Williams, Network Director of SSCNA, was invited to be part of the UN on the "The Role of Sport in Addressing Inequalities in Times of Crisis and Recovery" as part of its effort to maximize the positive contributions of sport.
 
125 participants attended from 24 countries, including experts, stakeholders and practitioners from academia, government, the private sector, civil society, and sports entities.

2. MEMBER NEWS

SSCN got its first member in Cameroon- UNITED ACTION FOR CHILDREN (UAC).
 
UAC is an incredible NPO that uses a number of programmes ranging from: Education, Skills development, agribusiness, Sports, Livelihood/Community development, Youth Rural Enterprise Development and economic empowerment to uplift underprivileged communities in Cameroon.

4. OPPORTUNITIES

Fonds SUEZ Grants for Improving the Living Conditions of Individuals

Applicants are invited to apply for the Fonds SUEZ grant program to combat exclusion by favouring inclusion and consequently sustainably improving the living conditions and autonomy of persons via access to essential services, social insertion and social harmony.

Applications for project support and funding can be submitted at any time, but work according to the following schedule:
  • A call for projects launched on May 5th and closing on October 30th of the year,
    for presentation to the Board of Directors in April/May of the following year
     
  • A call for projects launched on November 5Tth closing on April 30th of the following year, for presentation to the Board of Directors in October/November.
