This Sunday in worship we'll hear from Aaron Kees, of one Uptown's Youth interns. Aaron was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. He and his wife, Danielle, moved to Charlotte in 2018, and shortly afterward, he began to take an interest in seminary. In 2021, after ten years in the corporate world, he changed from a career in accounting to more actively pursue an MDiv from RTS. Aaron and Danielle have two boys. Join us in welcoming Aaron to the pulpit on Sunday!

Year-End Giving to Uptown

During this Advent Season, the deacons encourage you to prayerfully consider giving joyfully and generously to Uptown Church as part of your year-end giving plans. In 2 Corinthians, Paul encourages generosity by telling us that God wants to bless those who are followers of Him, not so that we may live in comfort but so that we may be even more generous with the time, talents, and treasures that He has given us.

Welcome Wendell Stephen Zumbach!

Congratulations to Stephanie, Bryan, Walter, and Isaac on the birth of their son and brother, Wendell Stephen Zumbach. Wynn was born December 24, 2022 weighing 10 lbs and measuring 22 inches long.
