Problem solving for a better world: Meet MIE’s 2022 Schulich Leader

Kai Chen (Year 1 MechE) is one of five U of T Engineering recipients of a 2022 Schulich Leader Scholarship at the University of Toronto. The Schulich Leaders combine skills in the STEM fields — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — with leadership experience, and they’re all energized to problem-solve for a better world.

Happy Holidays from MIE!

The MIE Department wishes you a happy holiday season! Please note the University will be closed for Winter Break from December 21 through December 30, 2022. Administrative offices will reopen on Monday, January 2, 2023. The first day of classes will be January 9, 2022.

Stan Gasner Graduate Scholarship in Healthcare Engineering - Applications Open

The Centre for Healthcare Engineering is pleased to announce that applications for the Stan Gasner Graduate Scholarship in Healthcare Engineering are now open. This scholarship is made possible by generous donations from Stan Gasner (IndE 6T4).

Past recipients are listed on the CHE website and the scholarship is now more focused on supporting industrial engineering students conducting research in healthcare engineering.
