NBHP Annual Meeting
Thank you members, partners, and friends of NBHP for joining us in celebrating 15 years of service! NBHP's Annual Meeting titled, Solving Today's Ethical Dilemmas, was a great success, with over 100 in attendance and dozens receiving Ethics CEUs free of charge!

Anna Babin, President & CEO of the United Way of Greater Houston, received the 2019 Vision Award for her commitment to behavioral health and continuous support of NBHP since its establishment.

The keynote address by Dr. Jean Latting of the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work allowed participants to interact and discuss a variety of techniques to effectively solve ethical dilemmas in organizational settings.

Due to the generosity of our Annual Meeting sponsors, NBHP also will be able to continue the Dr. Marion T. Coleman Pathways Scholarship Program, which provides stipends for University of Houston Downtown social work students to support their final field placements at NBHP member agencies.

NBHP is proud of the work it has been able to accomplish, delivering 15 years of service alongside its members and community partners. We thank you for your support!

Trauma-Informed Care Event

NBHP hosted a community-wide Trauma-Informed Care training that took place on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the United Way of Greater Houston. This  introductory training brought together almost 90 case managers, care coordinators, and other front line staff to learn about trauma theory,  vicarious trauma and self-care.
Facilitator: Rosalie Hyde, Houston-Galveston Trauma Institute
Disaster Behavioral Health Initiative

Please help us by completing the Disaster Behavioral Health Initiative (DBHI) Community Survey! The results of the survey will be used to develop a plan to improve the region's disaster behavioral health response.

If your organization previously has been involved in disaster preparation, response or recovery, please assist us with these efforts by completing our DBHI Community Survey here: DBHI Community Survey.

If you are interested in participating in the DBHI, please contact Sineria Ord
