I've had a fun time rehearsing with our guests for the first online version of our LDC meet ups which launches next Monday 19th. Please do join us if you are able to. LDC has a committee of 6 and we'e piloting our meetings online for the next 6 months with each of us leading one of the events. At every event we will include one international guest in our line up. I'm kicking off and really happy to be able to invite Irushi Tennekoon to present from Sri Lanka. I worked with her on the British Council Creating Heroines project and she is doing super interesting work.

We are also trying where possible to include a guest that has taken part in the LDC mentoring scheme. Natasha Natarajan had a mentoring session with me and I'm really pleased that her FLM comics will be published by Good Comics a company doing exciting projects.

I've realised my project of posting on instagram (artists chapel) provides a perfect platform to document the history of the renovation we did. I spent time during lockdown going through our old photos and we also have a massive slide collection of the process... 

Slowly but surely, but 20 years has flown by and I am amazed that this was how the chapel looked when we first bought it from the receivers, semi-derelict in 1999. The posts are over on instagram artistschapel. Please join me there if this is something of interest to you!
