Nicola Streeten
Hello, is it ever too late to wish you a Happy New Year...New Decade even? Sorry I'm late ... a useful and ever recurring phrase.

Here's my news from the fresh new decade...
What a View though
What could provide a better backdrop for planning meetings with John Plowman than this. We are spending a few weeks in India, currently in Cherai Beach, Kerala working on our Cultural Encounters Weekend 31 July - 2 August. And I of course am working with the LDC team towards delivery of the LDC Festival 28-29 March, please save the Sunday 29 March, the public day to come along and join us at the Free Word Centre, London. Wondering what this festival is? Have a look at this wonderful promo video put together by committee member artist Charlotte Bailey.

MBIFL 2020

This festival in Trivandrum, Kerala, India, has become a highlight of my calendar. This is the third year it has run and it gets better each year. This year I led a comics workshop based on exercises from the amazing Lynda Barry. It was enthusiastically received.

I had a fantastic time, making new friends and consolidating old ones. Here are some from the last day including inspirational Luke Daniels, Margaret Busby and Lemn Sissay.

My big book is now available with Palgrave Macmillan

My book launch
Thursday 30 April, 2020, 7.15pm
British Library, London

I will give a talk about the book which will be followed by a wine reception.
