If you've struggled to find the time to get started, this email is for you!

Hello Team Leaders,

We imagine many of you will be very busy at the moment, juggling work and life, and perhaps getting to grips with a new home learning routine.

Getting started on the Astro Science Challenge requires a bit of prep - we understand that this can be a little daunting and you may feel you don't have the time. We wanted to reassure you on how flexible the Challenge can be for the time you have, and your Cadet's abilities. Perhaps each week you just want to watch the Mission Briefing and a few of the related videos on our YouTube Mission playlists, and then simply answer one or two of the Tasks in the app - that's fine!

If however that still feels a bit much, we've got an easy alternative Mission for you...

Each week on a Wednesday and Friday, Jon, UNSA's Director of Human Spaceflight, and Mini Jon broadcast live from our virtual Space Shed. They've been introducing some super cool space science experts, including ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti and astrophysicist Andy Newsam, to your fellow Team Leaders and their Cadets. Tuning into these is the perfect team activity for anyone short on time! All you need is a spare 40 minutes, a device and a comfy spot for you and your Cadet(s).

All interviews so far are available to watch on our YouTube Channel and you can tune in live on Wednesday at 10am BST and Friday at 2pm BST. We'll be broadcasting at these times each week until the Astro Science Challenge: LIVE! graduation on Thursday 18th June 2020.

Not sure what to expect?
Here's our most recent AMA (Ask Me Anything) interview with Professor Andy Newsam.  Expect space elevators, exploding stars and an answer to the big question... can astronauts burp in space!?
