Recovery is for Everyone: Every Person, Every Family, Every Community. In our community, mental health and substance use disorders affect many people. As a part of National Recovery Month, Hold Out the Lifeline has created an introductory session to Recovery Coaching to foster a community of learning for those who want to better understand and support the recovery of their loved ones. We are all called to broaden our understanding of what recovery means for people with different experiences.
Join our newest training, Community-Based Recovery Support: An Introduction to Recovery Coaching for All on Wednesday, September 22nd from 11 am - 12:30 pm.
Participants will learn:
- To identify and respond to signs of substance use disorders
- To advance the recognition, acceptance, and support of recovery
- Specific skills and techniques to support those in or seeking recovery
- How to create a community that understands, supports, and advocates for recovery
