This email is to keep you informed about the finances of our church.

The work of making disciples is our mission, and each year it is the generosity of the St Matthew’s family that contributes to that mission. Even at this very difficult time, the St Matthew’s family has given generously from the heart.

For that, Church Council is very thankful to God.
Average giving has declined by approximately 15% on the previous year, which is approximately 4% lower than budget for the year. We’ve managed to reduce some expenses to offset this decline in giving. Thanks be to God that our finances remain in a relatively strong position. Council continues to monitor the financial position closely as any further decline in giving will have an impact on the ability to meet our ministry commitments.
As always, our trust is in the Lord to provide, but we are well served by sensible and prudent stewards of our finances and property.
If you have any questions about our financial position, please don't hesitate to contact hello@stmatthews.com.au or a member of the Church Council.
