St Matthew's Spring Picnic
Sunday 18th October, 12pm at Lake Jualbup
Don't forget this Sunday is the St Matthew's Spring Picnic! The weather is currently forecast to be a glorious sunny day so do join us to celebrate the end of winter with your St Matt's family. Great chance to meet new friends and catch up with old ones. We will be at Lake Jualbup from 12pm on October 18. BYO picnic lunch and blanket.
Keep RSVPing!
Please keep RSVPing for Church at 9am and 11am.

God willing it will only be for a few more weeks, but it really does help with the pressure of space we are feeling in our two morning services.
Lord's Supper
Not a week goes by at St Matthew's that we don't in some way remember and even celebrate the death of Jesus for us. His sacrifice is the price of our salvation. What we haven't been able to do is remember and celebrate the death of the Lord Jesus in the Lord's Supper. We are hoping to do that very soon, but in a different way from normal to make it as COVID safe as we possibly can. Once we are sure that COVID-19 has passed we can return to more normal and regular celebrations.
Name Tags
Nametags too are coming soon. We are hoping to have new nametags and a new system of check-in up and running very soon. We have been trialling it at Unichurch and we think we have it mostly sorted.
Prayer for recovering from surgery
We currently have three members of our congregation who are recovering from surgery. Can I encourage you to pray for them?

Heavenly Father,
You are the one who brings all comfort and all healing. We pray now for those who are recovering from recent surgery. We ask that you might bring them comfort and healing at this time. Please keep them from further complications, give them good rest and time to recover. May they not feel a burden to others at this time, instead we thank you for the chance to serve them and show them the love you have shown us.
In the name of Christ, Amen.

Extra seating available at all services
In order to accommodate as many people as we can at our two morning services, we are trialling the use of another small office space as an overflow, which will be able to accommodate another 21 persons.  The additional seats will be listed as part of the overall availability and seating will be allocated as people arrive.  The overflow space will have the service "livestreamed" on a TV screen.  Welcomers will direct you to the overflow areas once maximum accommodation has been reached in the auditorium.

We would also like to let you know that as we are able to use the hall as an overflow space for 30-50 persons at the 4:30pm and 6:30pm services, we no longer require RSVPs for either of these services.  Both services have space available, so do consider choosing either of those services for the Sundays you are unable to get into your morning service of choice, or as an alternative until restrictions ease.  Checking In is still required.

Don't forget, if your service of choice is booked out for this week, you can book ahead for next Sunday's service on the same booking page. Just scroll down on the RSVP form to see what is available to you and don't forget to RSVP today!
