A daily devotional to reset and re-centre our lives around God’s word

2 Samuel 11:26-27

26 When Uriah’s wife heard that her husband was dead, she mourned for him. 27 After the time of mourning was over, David had her brought to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing David had done displeased the Lord.

  • What do David's actions tell me about his consciousness?
  • Has God and his judgement warranted thought for David? Why do you think that might be?
  • When have I treated God like his will and design for life don't matter?
  • Ask God to keep reminding you that the life he offers is best
  • Pray that God would be front and centre in your thinking
