Shopping Trips to Pershore

With further grateful support from Fladbury Parish Council the 6-month trial has been extended to Christmas. Passengers can enjoy a couple of hours in Pershore to visit the central market, get groceries from ASDA/Tesco Express, do general shopping, take a trip to the Library, have a cup of coffee with friends, etc.

The additional dates are:

Thursday 8th December 2022
Thursday 22nd December 2022

For village residents already registered, please call the Volunteer Centre on (01386) 554299 to book your seat, press 1 for Transport and give your details. Please phone before lunchtime on the day before. Passenger numbers are limited to 10 on a first come, first served basis.

Pick-ups start around 10.30am from: The Chantry; the far end of Broadway Lane; the junction of Farm St & Paynes Lane; and Butt Furlong.

If you would like to participate and are not registered, please contact John Bolt on (01386) 860768 or 07772 495126. He will sign you up and give you all the necessary details.

The minibus has steps to gain entry. It is also equipped with a horizontal lifting platform: those passengers with a few mobility limitations can take advantage of this facility under the control of the driver.

The fare for the round trip is £3. Please place this in an envelope, marked with your name & address, and hand it to the driver upon boarding.
