Today is Colorado Gives Day

and we need your help to end homelessness through community and connection.
Donate to EarthLinks

This year, more than ever, your contribution would help those with lived experience of homelessness weather these difficult times.

At EarthLinks, you don’t just support a beautiful garden, but also a supportive grassroots community that blooms even after the harshest of seasons. Can you give today to help individuals in crisis find stability and connect with the Earth?

Within the EarthLinks garden, you’ll find a grounding grassroots community.

It’s a place flourishing with bountiful organic produce, eight beehives, native flowers, an onsite composting system, and a year-round greenhouse.

Even when the garden is dormant, it grounds us to our patch of Earth and weaves together hope and collectivity― reminding us even after weathering the harshest winters, we will bloom.

We know this year has weighed heavily on us all, and we want to extend a thank you for all the support you’ve shown our community during this difficult time. Your support provided much needed help for unhoused people throughout these wavering months.

Watch program participants share a slice of what being a part of the EarthLinks community means to them!

This past sweltering summer, on any given day in the Peace Garden you’d find a smiling Mary, sweating under her mask, but still eager to tell you about her latest permaculture experiments in the garden beds.

She tirelessly planned, spearheaded, and cared for our primary vegetable gardens this year― making sure the collards thrived and the bugs were kept at bay.

After a long journey bouncing to and from unstable housing, our case management team was able to help her secure a stable, affordable apartment this past spring.

Her brimming smile when she finally got the keys to her very own apartment is why we do what we do.

Because the instability of homelessness can be such a perpetually traumatic experience, gaining housing, food security, and a restorative community allowed Mary to finally find peace.

With Mary’s new-found stability grew an eagerness for tending to the garden here at EarthLinks. This past year our community grew 1,300 lbs of produce with Mary’s help.

I think it’s safe to say she met her goal of sending everyone home with “arms full of greens.”

Empowerment, resilience, and collectivity grow from our rich soil. Your donation will support the grounding place in Mary’s life.
