The Cycling Scoop

Edition 3

The summertime view from the saddle

With the arrival of warmer weather, and a (re)kindled interest in cycling thanks to COVID, cycling is experiencing a true heyday across Europe and the world.

The same applies in Handshake cities, for instance in Riga and Dublin, where cycling infrastructure has received a much appreciated boost.

Cycling strategies are expanding as well, to include input from civil society. ln Copenhagen, a new study has pinpointed what makes a cycling route truly attractive - and it isn't just a nice view!

Dive into this Summer issue of the Cycling Scoop to discover more on what is happening in other Handshake cities and in the wider world of cycling. Don't forget your sunblock!
