“Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.” (1 Samuel 7:12b) Greetings from Michigan once again! It’s been great being with family for the past month, as our next “tour of duty” may have us gone for the next half-year. We acknowledge God with thanks for allowing us to move forward in our ministry! When thinking over 2020 and pondering the fact that things might not get much easier in the coming days, Acts 20:24 is an encouragement to me. “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Will you join us in pressing on for God this coming year despite the challenges? His job for us did not get canceled when the world shut down.
Thank you for praying for our travel plans! A lot happened this month, and we were able to schedule places to be (some at very short notice) to fill gaps in our schedule. We are so thankful for everyone who is willing to have visitors in to their churches in an uncertain time. We have some particular prayer requests for our upcoming journey. We need the Lord’s will to be done as our trip is scheduled to take us to both California and Hawaii this next month, which have been very restrictive to both church meetings and travelers! Testing and quarantine requirements have been changing lately, and I know that if the Lord wants us there at the time we’ve scheduled, He is well able to open the doors. But we need His wisdom and patience to navigate the route to where we believe He’s directing us!
