Big News. Pemberton Valley Association's cross country ski facility partner is (drumroll) Big Sky!  We are looking forward to working with them to provide both classic and skate tracks once the snow flies. We've had plenty of positive feedback about the trails last year. Come on Ullr, deliver for us an early snowfall, so we can get gliding on piste.  More details to come about the facilities and operations in the coming season.
TRAIL NEWS
Backpains Trail Day- Fun and hard work was had by all! The rework done on Backpains, Saturday, October 29th was a success. Thank you to the vollies who came out to build, dig and rework corners. Darren Nichols, trail builder supreme, led the charge with a busy crew, covering a lot of ground in a short amount of time.
Thank you to Santa Cruz, who sponsored the day by feeding and watering the crew with pizza lunch, snacks and bevvies. Everyone was grateful for the fuel after a big day out  on the trails.

Fresh Tracks On Lower Hawaii
A refresh on lower Hawaii has been done this fall. Intermediate riders can expand their skills with optional black lines, there's a choice for everyone! This classic is a fun challenge for all levels of riders, get out there and enjoy it.
Equestrian Trail Days
We had big success in 2022, as PVTA teamed up with the Pemberton equestrian community for two trail days to get Bob's loop/Side Saddle/Riverside Trail brush cleared. Trail riders showed up and got many hours of hard work in to cut the brush back on the trails. BC Backcountry Horsemen Association was a big part of this success, with their monetary donation being crucial to getting the brush cutter up and running.

Two Trail User Communities Come Together to Raise Funds

Spud Valley Nordics cross country ski program was well supported by runners at the Annual Lumpy's Epic run. The rain made its appearance, but it didn't dampen the smiles on the faces of participants and the crowd . Yet another successful event was held on the beautiful trails of Pemberton.

Our 2022 AGM Notes can be found on the Pemberton Valley Trails website. Keep up to date on this years work and have a read.   https://www.pembertontrails.com/news

Congratulations to PORCA on a Successful Fundraiser
'Where's the action?' The call was answered by PORCA who held a shaker of a fundraiser at the Legion on October 15th raising $8000 to continue to provide programs, events and advocate for mountain biking in Pemberton. The mountain bike community is thriving and finally able to come together in person. Way to go PORCA.

THANK YOU to all our members and volunteers for your continued support.  We are  looking forward to continuing to work with our local community to maintain and build on the amazing network of multi user trails we have in our little hamlet of Pemberton.  We appreciate the support from all of our volunteers and members and look forward to your continued support as we move to improve our network for everyone.

Your support for local trails is important!
