NEWS: FROM THE NATIONAL COMMITTEE
Karen Bands, our MAASA National Head Coach/Judging committee member, has resigned from the National Committee. Karen would like to focus her attention and skills more at ground level, and will still be involved in MAASA as a judge for competitions, and as coach for our up and coming riders.
We would like to thank her for her commitment to the MAASA National Council, and we look forward to working with her in the future as she continues to help the sport grow. Thank you Karen!

NEWS: "CIRCUS MAXIMUS" TRAINING SHOW
Bekker Equestrian Academy played host to a very successful Mounted Archery training show on 26th October. Of the 17 entries on the day, only 4 were current MAASA riders - the rest were all new riders who had attended clinics this year, or who had recently started out in the sport. After the scheduled classes were completed, some of our top archers kindly offered to let the eager spectators also get a feel for the sport, by lending them horses, bows and arrows, and of course giving them impromptu training sessions. It was a hugely successful day, with everyone wanting to know when the next one would be! Watch this space for training show dates for 2020 - there will be many more to come! Thank you to everyone who participated, and those who supported from the sidelines - it was a great day!
